Clematis heracleifolia ‘davidiana’
Introducing a Shrub Clematis that needs no trellis! This new cultivar, ‘davidiana’, will produce clusters of deep blue, highly scented flowers in late August through September. Butterflies flock to the spicy aroma of the flowers. Flowering occurs late in the season when most flowering plants are finished blooming. The two to three foot shrub will create an outstanding display of blue flowers against the background of deep green colossal foliage. Grow the plants in full sun or partial shade. Zones 3-8
